Just a quick one – we’re situated very close to where the Cruise Ships dock here in Hobart – not more than 200 metres away.
We have quite a lot of cruise visitors grab a bike – it’s a terrific way to quickly get around and an even better way to see the sites.
No parking hassles, no long walks!

Hire a bike to explore Hobart and it’s surrounds.
We have a range of electric bikes, road, gravel and mountain bikes available for hire.
Please read our Terms and Conditions of hire which you will be required to accept to process a booking.

Bookings require 24 hours notice. We do hire on a walk up basis but availability will be impacted by committed bookings.
Bikes are hired at a daily rate. The daily rate reduces for multiple day hires.
From 1 October until 31 March we are open from 9am to 5.30 pm
For all other months we open from 9.00am until 5.00 pm.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE CLOSED ON WEEKENDS DURING JULY, AUGUST and SEPTEMBER. Advance arrangements for collection or delivery of bikes in this period maybe made. Please contact us by email (team@hobartbikehire.com.au).
We had such a great time riding bikes around Hobart. The service and quality of bikes are the BEST!! Luke was awesome. We rode out to the MONA on a proper cycleway, fairly flat and easy and then ventured the other way to the Ladie’s Factory, the Rivulet Trail is so lovely! Great way to get around downtown and see it up close and personal but faster and easier than walking.
